As recently announced by Frogwares, we have received a trailer for the remake of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. In addition to atmospheric footage from the thoroughly remodeled production, we also learned its system requirements.
Once again we had a chance to see how great the power of social solidarity is. Frogwares announced that they managed to reach their Kickstarter fundraising goal in just 6 hours. This help will certainly speed up the entire creative process of developers from Ukraine.
The fact that the Ukrainian studio Frogwares is working on a mysterious project with the working name of Palianytsia, was revealed this May. At the time, the unknown gamewas described as a "middle finger" aimed at the Russian aggressor. In late July, the developers announced that this title is actually a remake of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakening from 2006.
A few days after the official announcement, the studio released the first trailer of the upcoming production, prepared on its engine.
Sherlock Holmes will get, above all, improved graphics - the remake will be created on Unreal Engine 4. Frogwares has previously mentioned that it intends to "rebuild the entire game from scratch." But in addition to this, the changes will also touch other layers - the developers are talking about new mechanics and modifications to the storyline.

Unfortunately, at this point we do not know the exact date of the remake's debut. All that is known is that the premiere is scheduled for 2023. The title is headed for PC, PS5, XSX/S, PS4, XOne and Switch.
We should add that with the publication of the trailer a campaign has been launched on Kickstarter, the aim of which is to raise money to complete the game's development and further activities of the studio. So if you wish to support the developer, you can do so here. The minimum fundraising goal has been set at 70 thousand euros - it looks like it will be reached in the next few hours.
