Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Trailer Reveals New Release Date

Ukrainian studio Frogwares has announced a new release date for the remake of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. The game will be available in three editions, and pre-orders are now available on select digital platforms.

The premiere of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened was originally scheduled for late February/early March, but devs at Frogwares informed recently that they had to postpone it to April due to the difficulties raised by the war in Ukraine. Now the studio has confirmed that the game has gone gold. This means that the work on it has been completed, and the team is focusing on fine-tuning and optimizing the game for later updates. In connection with this, a trailer has appeared on the official website, along with a new release date - April 11..

Along with the announcement of the release date, Frogwares presented three editions of the game, which will be available for purchase from launch day. On Steam, the standard edition costs $39.99, the Deluxe Edition with additional missions and six exclusive outfits, $49.99, and the Premium Edition, available only on PC, is priced at $54.99 - in addition to the extras from the Deluxe version, it includes a digital artbook and soundtrack.

You can also find all three editions on Epic Games Store, PS Store and Xbox.com.

Frogwares has also launched preorders for the game on all digital platforms (not counting the Nintendo Store, where, at the time of writing this news, it is not possible to purchase the game). All those who choose to pre-order the game will receive three additional custom outfits for Holmes and Watson.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will come out for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch consoles, as well as PCs.
