Sifu's sales have surpassed one million copies. However, only 15% of players managed to beat the final boss.
Sloclap announced that sales of Sifu exceeded one million copies. The developers also revealed other interesting figures.
The above stats reflect the game's high level of difficulty. The fact that less than half of the players completed the second level, and only a little over 15% completed the entire game, shows how great a challenge this title turned out to be.
Sifu was released on February 8 on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The PC version is sold exclusively on Epic Games Store.
Four days after the release, the devs informedthat sales exceeded half a million copies. As you can see, over the next several days the game managed to double this result.
Achievements of Sifu are even more impressive when compared with the studio's previous production, Absolver. The latter managed to exceed 250,000 copies after three weeks after release. It was a very good result at the time, but it is clear that the latest work of the team at Sloclap is a much bigger success.
