Sloclap has revealed a development roadmap for Sifu for the rest of this year. The plans are ambitious.
Sifu roadmap for 2022
The expansion of the game with new elements will be divided into four stages - one for each season. All of the following attractions will be made available as free updates.
Spring 2022
- Ability to choose difficulty level.
- Expanded training modes.
- Option to change your outfit.
Summer 2022
- Expanded scoring system.
- Additional costumes.
- Gameplay modifiers including playing without the magic medallion, with one life point, without blocking, with stronger enemies, with bullet time, with the golden staff and with all skills unlocked from the beginning.
Fall 2022
- Gameplay replay editor.
- New outfits.
- Additional gameplay modifiers.
Winter 2022
- New game mode: Arenas.
- Additional outfits.
- New modifiers.

Waiting for updates, you should check out mods for Sifu.
Sifu devs did not provide any modding tools, but fans have managed without them. The most popular are projects that change the protagonist's appearance, enabling us to play as, for example Daredevil, Yang (the main villain of the game) or Batman.
Much more interesting, however, are modifications that change the gameplay. We recommend especially:
- Enemy Spawner - enables us to freely spawn enemies anywhere in the game.
- Sifu Randomizer Mod - with this project a lot of elements of the game becomes randomized, so every time we get a fresh challenge.
- Sifun - improves the in-game camera and changes the combat mechanics by strengthening the protagonist, speeding up enemies' movements and extending their combos.
- 1 HP MOD - player dies after a single hit.
- God Mode - this one probably doesn't need an explanation. The mod provides immortality to the protagonist.
Sifu was released on February 8 on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The PC version is sold exclusively on Epic Games Store.
