South Park: The Fractured But Whole delayed to Q1 2017

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is not coming this year. The game has been pushed to early 2017 so that Ubisoft can iron out all its wrinkles.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole got delayed from December 6 to Q1 2017, announced Ubisoft. The reason for that? Classic. The short information posted on Ubi Blog explains that the developers needed the additional time to make sure that the game would not disappoint the fans, whose hopes and expectations have been pumped up by hilarious trailers and gameplays as well as the original South Park creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, discussing new amazing features. I guess one should be careful with marketing.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is going to feature a superhero story with characters known from the South Park TV show – Cartman’s gang, now called Coon & Friends – as well as the New Kid, the protagonist of the previous game, South Park: The Stick of Truth. As for gameplay mechanics, this is a classic RPG with turn-based combat, collecting items, and team progression. Obviously, skills used by the kid superhero wannabies are very South Park-ish, with farting as a prime example. South Park: The Fractured But Whole is going to be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
