Approximate Release Date of Spider-Man 2 for PS5 Leaked by Dev

The release date for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has surfaced online. All thanks to one of the screenwriters.

We unofficially learned the release date of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The next superhero title from Insomniac Games will supposedly launch in the fall of 2023 .. Interestingly, however, this information does not come directly from the studio.

We learned it through a website belonging to Jamie Mayer, that is, one of the screenwriters employed by the aforementioned studio. In the tab dedicated to the projects she is working on, there was mention of just Marvel's Spider-Man 2. There, information about the release date appeared. This was quickly picked up by gamers and journalists.

Currently the website has already been changed and lacks a specific date. All that remains is the information about a 2023 release. This in itself is not new, as the date previously appeared on the game's trailer, it was also later confirmed by the developers.

The whole situation gives a somewhat strange impression. A person working at the development studio posted on its own publicly accessible website a release date for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which was still unknown to the public. This is quite irresponsible behavior that could have serious consequences.
