Hogwarts Legacy on 40 Minutes of Charming Gameplay

New gameplay from Hogwarts Legacy has been presented. The footage lasts as long as 40 minutes and shows exploration of the open world (beyond Hogwarts), as well as skirmishes in arenas.

As announced by studio Avalanche Software and Warner Bros., the devs have unveiled new gameplay from Hogwarts Legacy. During the show we were presented, among other things, flying on a broomstick and a hippogriff or clashes taking place in special arenas, in which we will face various magical beasts and other wizards. The reward for victory in the latter will be cosmetic items, enabling us to customize the appearance of the protagonist.

You can watch the recording of the stream below.

Also confirmed is what we have known for some time - in Hogwarts Legacy we'll be able to explore the areas around the School of Magic and Wizardry during all seasons. They will change during the adventure, so it's worth taking regular virtual walks to enjoy each of them.

The video also gives us a glimpse of how to take care of magical beasts (it is possible to give them names) or how the effects of individual spells will look like.

As a reminder, let me add that Hogwarts Legacy will be released on different dates on different platforms.

  • On PC, PS5 and XSX/S, the game has already gone gold and will come out as planned - on February 10, 2023..
  • The PS4 and XOne versions have suffered a slight delay, causing them to be released on April 4, 2023.
  • On Switch, the title will debut even later, namely on July 25, 2023.

It is also worth mentioning that the game looks very nice indeed. If you can't wait to play it, I'd like to remind you that placing a pre-order for the Deluxe will enable you to start the adventure three days before the actual release, i.e. on February 7, 2023.
