Spotify is down and it is a known problem. Thousands of users are experiencing the “not loading” bug

Spotify is probably the most popular app when it comes to listening to music. Well, probably the only other mainstream serious competitor is YouTube Music. So, no wonder that when this service is down, there are many people who learn about it in a hard way. The situation is no different in this case, too. For some time people have been experiencing issues and could not load their favorite songs. However, it is a known issue.

Spotify outage is a known problem

If you experience a bug, you are not alone. Moreover, Spotify team already knows about the issue. On the official Status account on X, it was announced that the problem is checked out. Some users must have been very stressed about the outage, as in the following massage, people responsible for the account had to add that the problem is not related to the security hack… I did not think about it until I read that! Sadly, we do not know what is causing this outage.

However, as of now we should not be worried. From time to time even the largest companies have issues. Not so long ago Microsoft 365 Family subscription was down for a few hours. Of course, everything was soon back to normal.

So, while we know that situation is not ideal, just don’t panic, and in the meantime listen to music on YouTube. Of course, check for posts on Spotify Status account on X. We surely will do just that and inform you about any development when new information is available.
