STALKER 2 Preload Now Available on Xbox Series X/S; Game Requires a Lot of Disk Space. We Recall System Requirements for PC
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl preload has launched on Xbox Series X/S consoles. The title requires 146.6 GB of data to download.
The launch of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is really close now, and everything indicates that there will be no delays this time. A few days ago, the game received gold status, and on this occasion, the devs published a new trailer. Now, however, it is possible to download its files in advance.
Unfortunately, according to information circulating on the Internet, this option is currently only available on Xbox Series X/S consoles. So, PC gamers will have to wait a bit longer. On the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series Discord server, we can find a message indicating that the preload on Steam will start 2 days before the game's release, which is on November 18th.
On Xbox consoles STALKER 2requires downloading 146.6 GB of data. Owners of smaller disks must therefore prepare a lot of free space. In the case of the Xbox Series S console in the 512 GB version (players have 364 GB available), so the game will take up a significant portion of the available space.
However, it's important to note that this game's size aligns with the PC system requirements specified by GSC Game World as of 2021. Given the upcoming premiere on November 20, it's worth recalling them.
