Star Wars Squadrons - Release Date, Gameplay Trailer and Cross-play
The EA Play Live show could not miss the space shooter Star Wars Squadrons, announced just a few days ago. The game's release date was revealed, a trailer with fragments of gameplay was shown and it was announced that the multiplayer mode will offer cross-play.
EA Play Live wouldn't be complete without Star Wars: Squadrons, a space shooter set in the universe of Star Wars. First extensive gameplay footage was shown, presenting both a single-player story campaign and several multiplayer modes.
We also learned that the game will offer a cross-play option, enabling the owners of all hardware platforms for which the project is intended i.e. PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, to have fun together in multiplayer mode.
It was also announced that Star Wars: Squadrons will debut on October 2 this year. Moreover, it was announced that all game modes will support VR. People using virtual reality devices will also benefit from cross-play options.
