Star Wars: Squadrons is a space shooter licensed by Star Wars. This is another game in this universe from the Electronic Arts catalogue. Motive Montreal studio, owned by the publisher, is responsible for the game.
Star Wars: Squadrons focuses on the clash of two five-man teams (the squadrons, representing the forces of the Empire and the New Republic). Players sit at the helm of ships like the X-Wings and TIE fighters and take part in space battles with entire fleets. In combat it is necessary to redirect power between engines, armaments and other systems depending on the situation.
Star Wars: Squadrons focuses on ten-player online gameplay, but also offers a single-player story campaign.
The game offers support for virtual reality technology on selected platforms (PlayStation 4 and PC), as well as the ability to play together on different devices thanks to cross-play.
