Marcin Momot, who holds the position of community director at CD Projekt RED, boasted on his profile on Twitter the very high position of Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty on the list of global bestsellers on Steam. In first place, in turn, is Starfield, which should come as no surprise, considering how many players are waiting for this game.

Reviewing the data from SteamDB one can also notice that Cyberpunk 2077 is slightly more popular among the players than it was just a few days ago, which may be related to the announcement of the release date for the aforementioned DLC. In recent days, up to about 15,000 traveled the streets of Night City in a 24-hour period. Yesterday, however, the number rose to 17 thousand.

Such a high position for Phantom Liberty shows that the poor initial reception of Cyberpunk 2077 has not significantly affected the willingness to preorders games. Apparently, in the eyes of many, CD Projekt RED has redeemed itself with numerous patches improving gameplay and adding more content to the game. Apparently, they also decided to give another big credit to Bethesda, which stirred up a lot of excitement with a powerful presentation of Starfield.

Finally, it is worth recalling that Starfield will debut on September 6, and Cyberpunk 2077: Pantom Liberty on September 26. So it's shaping up to be a September full of virtual adventures.
