The ongoing Steam Summer Sale is good for Cyberpunk 2077. We can buy the title in the store for half price, which translates into growing popularity. Not drastically, but still.
Players return to Cyberpunk
As we can observe on SteamDB, the weekend after the launch of the Steam Summer Sale the number of Cyberpunk 2077 players began to gradually increase. Yesterday, nearly 19,000 people were in the game at the same time, which is also the highest activity score in the last 30 days.
Mod to increase FPS
If you are tempted by the discounted Cyberpunk, but you did not check whether your PC matches the game's system requirements, you do not have to demand a refund right away. The following modification comes to your aid: FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0, thanks to which the number of frames per second in the game can even be doubled.
The modification is still being worked on by creator PotatoOfDoom, so you can expect bugs or crashes, e.g. when changing graphic settings. You can read a detailed description of how the mod works, as well as its FAQ, at the link above.
The creator tested FSR 2.0 on a Nvidia GTX 1080 GPU, but as he says, the mod will also work without any problems on Intel and AMD cards, or other models from Nvidia. You can see it in the video below, where the operation of FSR 2.0 was compared with FSR 1.0 and DLSS 2.4 on RTX 3080.
