Renaissance of Castaway Game; Raft Among Steam Bestsellers and With Activity Record

The popularity of Raft has exploded after the release of the recent major update. The game has been among the biggest bestsellers on Steam and is reaching impressive activity records.

Like every Monday the list of the biggest (by revenue) bestsellers of the past week on Steam has been released.

There were no changes at the very top in this edition. The leader remained Steam Deck, followed closely by Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade. The rest of the list, however, brought a lot of changes.

Raft renaissance

Raft caught wind in its sails and took the fourth spot. The main reason for the renaissance is the release of the game's biggest update to date. On top of that, there was a 15% discount.

As a result the game's popularity has exploded. A new activity record is set almost every day - the latest of which is 101 thousand concurrent users, achieved yesterday.

Moreover, 93% of Steam user ratings are positive, which is categorized as a "very positive" reception. What is important, the game can boast such a result both counting all ratings and only those from the last 30 days, which shows that it is able to maintain the sympathy of players.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands with excellent debut

After a few months of exclusivity for Epic Games Store, the PC version of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has been released on Steam. The premiere turned out to be a big success, as different editions of the game took third and eighth spot in the list. The good sales results were probably also helped by a 20% discount.

The game received a relatively warm reception on Steam - 77% of user reviews are positive, which is categorized as a "mostly positive" reception. The title is also achieving solid activity scores; yesterday, at the hottest time of the day Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was being played by 15,000 users. This is a record higher than on launch day, which bodes well for the project's future.

Last week's biggest Steam hits (by revenue)

On the other spots there were also a lot of changes, mainly due to the huge sales during the Steam Summer Sale. Players rushed to buy God of War and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. In addition, Monster Hunter: Rise continues to sell very well, as well as preorders for the Monster Hunter: Rise - Sunbreak expansion.
