Original news (November 11)

A few days ago, Steam saw the debut of Stronghold: Definitive Edition, a refreshed version of the iconic 2001 strategy game. The game was received very warmly, but the developers did not avoid a few problems. Some of them are eliminated by the recently released first update, marked with the number 1.01.

  1. It's a small patch that fixes dozens of bugs. For example, the problems that caused insults not to be heard in multiplayer and workers not always doing their jobs have been eliminated.
  2. The devs also confirmed that they are aware of problems with multiplayer, such as lag, desynchronization and lost connections. They are currently working on fixes for these aspects of the game.

Recall that Stronghold: Definitive Edition was released on November 7, exclusively on PC. Currently, the game can still be purchased on Steam 10% off to celebrate the release. The offer will remain valid until November 14.

The title has met with a warm reception. On Steam, 84% of reviews praise the remaster, which is categorized as a "very positive" reception. The game is also achieving impressive activity results - yesterday, at the hottest time of the day Stronghold: Definitive Edition was played by 7663 people simultaneously.

It is worth mentioning at the end that the developers have ambitious plans to expand the game. Among the plans are two paid DLCs with new campaigns and two major updates with additional content..
