SUPERHOT VR Earns $2 Million in a Week

SUPERHOT VR from the Polish developer SUPERHOT team earned more than $2 million during the Christmas week. The title is available on PC and PlayStation 4.

Polish studio SUPERHOT team closes the year in excellent mood. On Twitter it was reported that SUPERHOT VR, a dedicated VR version of the unusual FPS, has made over $2 million worldwide in the past week alone. This amount includes sales of both PC and PlayStation 4 editions.

The fact that the game has been so successful for over three years since its launch is not particularly shocking. The title has received very good ratings in the industry media and is considered to be one of the most interesting games designed for VR devices. As VR goggles probably appeared under many a Christmas tree during the holiday season, it seems natural that many of them wanted to have SUPERHOT VR in their collection.

The holiday success of SUPERHOT team was also helped by the fact that the game's digital editions for both PC and PlayStation 4 can now be purchased at reduced prices. On PlayStation Store the game can be bought for $16.74, and for $16.99 we can get it on Steam.

SUPERHOT VR achieves success during this year's holiday season.

Since we are already on the topic of Valve's platform, it is worth noting that SUPERHOT VR has been placed in the Platinum category in the Best in 2019 - Virtual Reality ranking. In other words, it has been one of the best-selling productions for VR devices on Steam in the past twelve months.

Although VR goggles still do not belong to the most popular devices, it is possible that this will change next year. The premiere of Half-Life: Alyx from Valve, a spin-off to the iconic FPS series, is approaching with great steps. If it is successful, who knows - maybe SUPERHOT VR will earn even more in the next Christmas period.
