Terraria 2 is Being Made After All? Map Concept Revealed
Terraria 2 may be coming into being after all. The developer of the game published a map concept on his Twitter account, stirring the imagination of players.
Earlier this year, the creator of Terraria decided to toy with fans' expectations a bit and chose a location on his Twitter account suggesting that he was working on a second installment of the iconic game. Unfortunately, it turned out to be just a joke at the time, and the whole situation was quickly clarified by the head of business strategy at Re-Logic. According to him, the studio was just considering what direction it was going to take and the development of Terraria 2 was only one of many possibilities.
Some time has passed since the publication of the aforementioned joke, and it looks like there may have been a grain of truth in it after all. Indeed, Redigit, the aforementioned developer of the game, posted a new message on Twitter, the content of which is sure to have pleased the mass of fans.

The graphic he posted is supposed to show concept art of the world of Terraria 2. As he stated, this is a very early project, which is definitely evident in the image. Some might say that this quality suggests that we are dealing with another joke of the developer, but on the other hand, the style fits the game (especially when we are talking about concept artworks).
Of course, the above post is not a clear announcement that the game is indeed being made. Re-Logic has not shared any official announcement on the subject. Redigit, on the other hand, only stated that this is concept art was painted some time ago. He did not say that it is related to the actual game under development.
