One of the games presented during gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live was The Expanse: A Telltale Series. We saw fresh footage of the game and learned its release date.

At gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live there was no shortage of new trailers for games announced some time ago. One of them was The Expanse: A Telltale Series, a narrative adventure set in the universe of the popular novel series and Netflix TV series, announced at The Game Awards 2021.

We saw just over two minutes of footage from this upcoming game by Telltale Games and Deck Nine, laced with statements from the creators, specifically its director Stephen Frost, Zak Garriss, who is responsible for the story, and actress Cary Gee, who plays the role of Camina Drummer in The Expanse. You can watch it below.

To the delight of Telltale Games fans, the footage was topped with the approximate release date of the game in question. It is expected to be released on PC - at least initially - in the summer of 2023.
