The third installment in a popular Medieval merchant simulator, The Guild 3, is launching in Steam Early Access today, where it intends to stay for at least 4-6 months. The Guild 3’s developer, GolemLabs, says it is nearing completion and polishing the game, but the team still needs feedback from the series’ fans and is open to suggestions as to which features should be added or changed. If you decide to hop into The Guild 3 while it’s still in Early Access, expect some bugs as well as performance hiccups. Otherwise, however, the game is fully playable.
The Guild 3 takes you to Medieval Europe as it’s stepping into the 15th century, a more enlightened period of the Dark Ages. This original mixture of economic strategy, historical life simulator and role-playing game lets you create your own family dynasty and establish its unwavering position in the world of trade, social life, politics and intrigue. The game offers 12 unique single player scenarios as well as online experience for up to 16 players. This new entry in the franchise also features all new 3D graphics, day and night cycle and four seasons.
