GSC Game World studio announced STALKER: Legends of the Zone Trilogy - Enhanced Edition. The iconic trilogy will be revamped and receive 4K support. Its owners will get the upgrade for free.

If you have S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chornobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, or the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone trilogy in your collection, then the latest surprise from the GSC Game World studio will certainly make you happy. The Ukrainian company announced that on May 20, 2025, it will release S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy - Enhanced Edition on PC, PS5, and XSX/S. What's important, those who own the aforementioned titles will get a free upgrade to the new version.
If you want to buy the remastered version of the game, you'll have to pay $19.99. The entire upgraded trilogy, however, is set to cost $39.99. It should be noted that the Enhanced edition will only appear in the digital version.
How did the devs improve the previous installments of the series? Apart from many technical fixes, features like 4K resolution, ultrawide monitor support, performance and quality modes on consoles, FSR technology, achievements and trophies, and DualSense controller support on PS5 were added. Besides that, the games have been adapted for Steam Deck.
