The Isle - Can't Join Server Problem Explained

Despite being released in 2015, The Isle is still in early access. The title about dinosaurs and their lives is a veteran of EA. However, fans do not seem to be bothered, as the game is regularly updated, and developers do not abandon it. The latest patch, 0.13.18.17, introduced 2 new dinosaurs and some fresh mechanics. Many players decided to check them out. Some of them couldn’t, though. They were stopped by not working servers.

If you experience problems with joining servers, believe us, you are not the only one. Many people go through the same issue. Sadly, it is a reoccurring event. If you can’t join a server, it means that it is full.

Something like that happens quite regularly after bigger updates. Many people decide to try changes and servers do not have the capacity to host them all. Some people report that numbers next to servers shows some free spaces when they want to join – it is a known problem. Information protocols show server data with latency. It means that while it may look like there are some slots for you, they are already taken.

While in normal circumstances it is not such a big problem, the issue starts in the situations of a bigger traffic, as in the case of the new patch. The best thing you can do is to try again, at some point you will probably be able to join, or wait a little bit for less occupied hours.
