Reddit user Teriosss65 posted screenshots and gameplay fragments from The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered on r/PlayStation, although the game is not officially out yet. The screenshots and gameplay videos show things like character skins and early stages of the game.

If you don't mind spoilers, you can find the materials here.

As the leaker explains, he managed to buy a physical copy of the game in the store 6 days before the official release. The seller did not realize that the game should not yet be available for sale. Two copies of the game were sold.

Teriosss65 also talks about his impressions of the new No Return game mode, which we wrote about recently:

No return is pretty fun, there are quite a lot of things that make it like that, the characters skills, different enemies and even bosses. The story doesn't have anything to do with it though.

Teriosss65 claims that the differences between individual characters (there will be several available) are supposed to be visible and have significant impact on the gameplay.

New trophies and announcement of a documentary film

Naughty Dog studio announced on X that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will receive 13 new trophies for the No Return mode. All trophies previously earned on PS4, including the platinum one, will be transferred to the remastered version on PS5.

The developers also announced a documentary about the creation of The Last of Us Part 2. The documentary titled Grounded II: Making The Last of Us Part II doesn't have a release date yet. The development process of the first game from the series was shown in 2014. Below we present the trailer of the movie.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will be released on January 19 on PlayStation 5. So far, it has not been officially confirmed whether the game will also be released on PC in the future.
