A new patch for the PC version of The Last of Us Part I has been released. The update is numbered 1.1.2 and introduces numerous fixes. Here are the most important of them.

  1. Improved how terrain elements and various ground-based environmental objects, such as mud or debris, flow together.
  2. Fixed a bug that caused the DualSense wireless controller's adaptive trigger resistance to stop working if the triangle button was simultaneously held down while aiming.
  3. There were also bug fixes. In the bus depot, for example, the camera no longer vibrates when passing a bus.

The most important of these changes is the first. Unfortunately, its scope is so large that after installing the update at the first launch, the game will have to recompile the shaders, which, as usual, will take some time. The visual improvements, however, should be worth it.

Recall that the PC edition of The Last of Us Part I was released this March. The game was initially not well received due to numerous technical issues. However, many of these have now been resolved with updates, which has translated into a better reception of the game. On Steam, of the reviews issued in the last 30 days, 88% are positive.
