A lengthy gameplay from the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has hit the web. It showcases Link's brand new abilities.
If you are eagerly awaiting the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, then you will certainly be interested in the thirteen-minute gameplay footage from Tears of the Kingdom, which has just hit the web. The gameplay was provided with commentary by Eiji Aonuma - producer of the series. By the way, he announced that work on the game has been completed. You can watch the entire video below.
The footage focuses on showing Link's new skills. At the beginning, we see how to get to the sky islands, which are an important part of Tears of the Kingdom. For this, for example, the ability called "recall" is to be used, thanks to which the protagonist reverses the movement of objects, such as stones that have fallen from the sky.
Another interesting skill is "fuse" - the ability to combine objects, including elements of the environment. Thanks to this, for example, from a simple stick and a boulder Link will create a powerful mace. Such a talent will also make archery easier, e.g. combining arrows with a monster's eye will make the projectiles point themselves at the target.
With this ability in Tears of the Kingdom Link can also create his own means of transportation - the process of building a raft was demonstrated on the gameplay. Yet another new ability is "ascend," which will accelerate upward movement. Thanks to it you can get through the ceilings of buildings and caves, among other things.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will debut on May 12, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch console. It is the first Nintendo game priced at $69.99.
