Yesterday Ubisoft mentioned about recoil changes in the SAPSS-15 in R6 Siege. However, The problem is that this weapon is not in the game. In this guide you will find out what this is all about.
Couple months ago Ubisoft announced shields rework in Rainbow Six: Siege. Yesterday the test server was launched which allows you to check out this and several other new features. In the list of changes there is mention about a modified recoil in the SAPSS-15. In this guide you will find out what this weapon is all about.
In the post on X, Ubisoft presented the entire list of changes available for testing. As already mentioned, it includes weapon called SAPSS-15. However, there is no such gun in the game. This caused confusion among the players.
Ubisoft made a mistake. Recoil changes relate to SPAS-15 – a semi-automatic shotgun. It’s used by Caveira and Thunderbird.
In its current version, the weapon only has a noticeable vertical recoil. On the test server, however, it is available in a different version. The recoil after the first shot was reduced. Ubisoft has also decided to add a horizontal recoil. This causes the weapon to move to the left when firing.
It is also worth bearing in mind that the SPAS-15 is not the only weapon to receive recoil changes. The SMG-11 and the G36C are also being modified. Ace's gadget, the S.E.L.M.A, has also been nerfed. All these changes can be tested until 22 January. However, it’s unknown when they will come to the game.
