The Sims 4: Vampires DLC scheduled for January 24

The Sims 4: Vampires is a new DLC for this hilarious simulator of life, coming out later this month. With it your sims will get to become vampires and live in a stylish gothic manor.

Vampires are quite fashionable these days – one would say they are the new zombies – so it’s no wonder they just had to make their way to The Sims 4 eventually. The latest installment in this beloved franchise of light-hearted life simulators is getting the Vampires content pack on January 24, 2017. Here’s the reveal trailer:

If you are a parent, worry not, because vampires in The Sims 4 don’t drink blood, but Plasma (although it comes from the same source – other sims’ necks; alternatively you can grow a Plasma Tree or purchase Plasma Packs). They also have supernatural powers, like the ability to turn others into vampires and move around in different forms, a bat for example. Plus, they don’t age and can thus live forever. On the other hand, vampires, as it is commonly known, hate daylight, so you may want to consider keeping them away from sun rays unless you want to watch them burn.

The Sims 4: Vampires will also add a new world, called Forgotten Hollow – a perfect home for your vampire family with all the creepy fog, withered foliage and long nights. There you can build your own gothic manor full of stuff every respectful vampire should have, classic style. Visit the official website for more info.
