The Witcher: Monster Slayer Available, but There's a Catch

A few days after the announcement of The Witcher: Monster Slayer, an early version of the game was released. Unfortunately, for now only New Zealanders can explore the Witcher world using augmented reality technology.

For the time being, we do not know when the game will be released around the world.

Last week we wrote about the announcement of The Witcher: Monster Slayer, an AR game inspired by Pokemon GO. It turns out that the game can be played now, but unfortunately not in most of the world.

The devs informed that an early version of The Witcher: Monster Slayer has just debuted in New Zealand. For now the game can only be tested by owners of iOS devices. There are also plans to release it on Android, but we don't know when it will be released.

Let's remind, that The Witcher: Monster Slayer is being developed by Spokko, part of CD Projekt RED. We expect that the game will use the freemium model. We don't know when the full version will debut.
