Hopes for Imminent Announcement of Darksiders 4 Dashed by THQ
One Twitter post was enough to get Darksiders fans enthusiastic. The next one completely buried their hopes.
- THQ Nordic posted a tweet that raised the hopes of Darksiders fans;
- The players thought that this is an indication that the company is working on a new game;
- In a subsequent post, however, it was confirmed that such a game is not being created.
Darksiders is a brand that has existed and was developed for years and has gathered a large group of loyal fans. And no wonder that they are waiting impatiently for the announcement of the next installment. Unfortunately, as it remains nowhere to be seen, the players grasp at all the clues and rumors they can find. One tweet published by THQ Nordic was enough to arouse the enthusiasm of the most dedicated fans.
A few words and a picture made gamers start to outdo each other in speculations about the intentions behind the post. According to many, it was meant to suggest that another installment of the series, focused on the next Horseman of the Apocalypse is in production. Some went even further and began to predict the emergence of the installment presenting the fate of a whole group of heroes.

Subsequent responses from fans led the admin of THQ Nordic's profile to clarify the situation. In the next post he dispelled all hopes of the players who already managed to get excited about the prospect of a new game. The previous tweet was supposed to be only an innocent meme. The possible announcement of the upcoming title would be much more direct.
So it looks like the fans have to get by without a new game. This does not mean, of course, that Darksiders 4 will never be created. Perhaps in the future we'll see its release. Its debut, however, will certainly not take place in the near future.
