Original news (March 4, 3:00 a.m. PT)
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is set to hit the market later this year, specifically on July 11.
So far the reports about today's announcement of this collection have not been confirmed. Nonetheless, billbil-kun provided information about the release date and special editions of the game, as well as a very blurry image - probably promotional graphics for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. Earlier, an insider most likely posted a blurred cover of the game online.
As we read, the upcoming installments of the skateboard series will receive both a Collector's Edition (for PS5, XSX/S, and Switch) and a Deluxe Edition, both offering 3-day early access. Of course, there will also be bonuses for pre-ordering, including a Foundry Demo.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is set to cost $49.99 at launch for the Standard Edition and $69.99 for the Deluxe Edition. However, the "Collector's Edition" is reportedly going to be priced at 129.99 bucks.
Rumors about further reviving the iconic skater series have been circulating for a long time. At the beginning, there was information about the abandoned Vicarious Visions project, followed by Tony Hawk's own assurances about the "future" of the series. Finally, in the last month, more unofficial information emerged, which the publisher didn't confirm but left little doubt about the existence of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. If we believe the speculations, everything will change today and we will finally receive an official announcement.
