Total War: Warhammer Update 1 live; Blood Knights and DX12 beta added

The first update for Total War: Warhammer has been released today. It brings a considerable amount of new content into the game and introduces a myriad of changes.

The first update for Total War: Warhammer was released today. Update 1 brings a considerable amount of new content into the game, including five extra multiplayer maps: Alpine Ridge, Crossroads, Heorot Ridge, Peak Pass, and Blue Reach River as well as the Blood Knights, a tier 5 shock cavalry for the Vampire Counts. Moreover, a myriad of changes was introduced. They mostly include rebalancing units, heroes, spells, and abilities across all factions and improvements in the AI’s behavior. The developers also fixed a number of bugs and technical issues. You can read the full patch notes over here.

Those of you who want to try out Total War: Warhammer on DirectX 12 can now download the DX 12 beta. Here you can check its system requirements. However, be warned that this version of the game is still being developed and has quite a few unresolved issues.
