Counter-Strike 2 and Deadlock recently received major updates. So the players started digging through their files, looking for mentions of Half-Life 3. Apparently, they found quite a lot of them.
This latest information fits with recent rumors shared by, Gabe Follower. He claims that many elements of the game are already completely finished and at most require some final technical refinements. Some of the developers were also supposed to move on to work on other projects, which suggests that they have already finished their part of the work on Half-Life 3. Gabe Follower also claims that the game may have an advanced ballistic system that will realistically reproduce the trajectory of each bullet, taking into account factors such as gravity.
Just keep in mind that these are unofficial information and data from files of other, already released games. Officially, Valve hasn't confirmed that they are working on the legendary HL 3, although similar leaks have been appearing since the beginning of 2024. In May, Tyler McVicker claimed that the project is already playable from beginning to end.
