Vampire Knight is back on Netflix. Fans can get ready to watch two seasons of the beloved vampire anime.
Vampire stories, especially those aimed at teens, at one time experienced a veritable boom, giving viewers such series as Twilight, The Vampire Diaries and Vampire Knight. And let's just focus on the last one, the anime based on the manga by Matsuri Hiro, which at one time was a real hit.
And which will be easier to return to now, thanks to the fact that the anime is coming back on Netflix. Fans spotted, a cryptic message “new seasons coming soon” next to Vampire Knight on Netflix. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that there will be new anime seasons that adapt the rest of the manga, nor that there will be a remake. Rather, it means only that the old two seasons will be added on Netflix again.
The anime left the platform in the United States and Canada on October 15, 2022, and is scheduled to return to the platform on August 15, 2025, or at least that's according to the information on the title's card on Netflix.

Unfortunately, as of now, there is no indication that Vampire Knight is to be revived or a remake is to be made. This may change in the future, after all, more and more series are getting remakes or are being revived, however, for the moment, the 2008 anime is the only screen adaptation of Vampire Knight manga.
And it won't be long before fans will be able to watch Vampie Knight again on Netflix. This unexpected return is sure to be a pleasant surprise for many fans of this iconic vampire anime.
If you're unfamiliar with the series, it tells the story of Yuki, a student at Cross Academy – an elite institution with lessons for humans during the day and for vampires at night.
Vampire Knight anime is also available to Hulu and Peacock subscribers.
