Although Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has its problems and it is not known when it will see the light of day, recently quite a few titles set in the universe of the World of Darkness appeared on the market, created by the White Wolf publishing house (now part of Paradox Interactive). One of them is Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt developed by Sharkmob. The title was available in Steam's early access since September 7 last year. According to the latest announcementit will leave it on April 27.
What is Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt?
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt is a free-to-play online TPP battle royale action game, In this game we have the opportunity to become a member of one of the vampire clans, such as Brujah, Nosferatu or Toreador. Each of them has unique skills. The groups wage brutal battles on the streets of Prague for domination over this city, in which we have to help them.
Our characters can fight both in melee and engage in ranged combat, climb walls, turn into fog, blind their opponents and so on. All this makes the battles in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt be very diverse and provide decent entertainment for a long time.
As for the number of players on Steam, VTM: Bloodhunt has had varying degrees of luck so far. Last weekend, it had close to 4,000 concurrent users. Now that number has dropped to just 50-80 (via SteamDB). How will it look after the official release? We'll find out at the end of the month.
Importantly, on the day of its official release Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt will be available on PC and PlayStation 5. The title is also coming to Xbox Series X/S, but it will appear on that console later this year.
