Windows 11 Launches Today - Download Now

Microsoft released the latest version of the system. Windows 11 can be installed in three ways.

As announced, Windows 11 officially launched on October 5, 2021. On Microsoft's website you will find a description of the three ways to install the new system on your computer.

Windows 11 is available now on Microsoft's website, HERE.

Before installing the new system it's worth checking in PC Health Check if our hardware is ready for Windows 11. If the computer does not meet the requirements, the program will display a detailed message with a description of the missing features.

How to download Windows 11?

When you open the Windows 11 download page, you will see three options to choose from:

  • Windows 11 Installation Assistant - recommended option, requires the least action on our part. The whole process is performed by the installation assistant.
  • Create Windows 11 Installation Media - this option is useful, when we want to reinstall or install a clean copy of the operating system. The downloaded installer is used to create a USB or DVD medium for the installation.
  • Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) - we can also download a disk image of Windows 11 (ISO), which is useful when installing the operating system from scratch, also on virtual machines.

Windows 11: upgrade from Windows 10

Microsoft recommends patience when upgrading from Windows 10 to the latest version of Windows. Although you can force install Windows 11, the Redmond giant advises you to wait until it appears automatically:

"If you're upgrading from Windows 10, we recommend you wait until you receive a notification from Windows Update that the upgrade is ready for your PC."
