Forza Horizon 5 Will Feature Seasons With Evolving Map

The creators of Forza Horizon 5 drew inspiration from battle royale games. The map in the new installment of the series will change with each season.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Forza Horizon 5 devs have revealed more details about the game;
  • The new installment will feature seasons similar to those known from the battle royale games;
  • The map will change over time to a greater extent than in the previous installment.

Another broadcast in the Let's Go! series, organized by the creators of Forza Horizon 5, took place yesterday, presenting new elements of the upcoming title. The biggest novelty revealed during the stream is probably the refreshed mechanics of seasons, which will be implemented in the game.

The developers at Playground Games have revealed that the feature will work along similar lines to seasons known from battle royale games. In Forza Horizon 5 they will be called Series. Each subsequent series will affect the apperance and content of the map, on which we'll be moving. This means the players can expect gradual evolution of the virtual Mexico. This also means that the seasons will affect the game to a greater extent than in previous installment.

Horizon Stories quests will also be included in the changes. A series of challenges related to stunt driving, Top Gear and many others are now to be much more extensive and engaging. They will also be less linear - this time we will have different paths to choose from.

In addition, the creators have shared great news for fans of Back to the Future. The iconic DMC DeLorean will appear in the game. In addition, a list of achievements that we will be able to unlock in the game was published. You can find it in the article on the Xbox website.

Forza Horizon 5 will launch on November 9, this year. The game will appear on PC and Xbox One and Series S/X.
