Xbox Cloud Gaming Got Visual Improvement Features, but There's a Catch

The Xbox Cloud Gaming service has received another feature to improve visual quality. Unfortunately you can only use it in one browser.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Xbox Cloud Gaming has received a new feature;
  • Clarity Boost improves visual quality by sharpening images;
  • This option is only available in the Microsoft Edge Canary browser.

Although Xbox Cloud Gaming is not yet an outstandingly popular service, Microsoft is constantly developing it. The platform regularly receives new features and improvements. The latest of these is a feature called Clarity Boost.

It is responsible for automatically improving the quality of the displayed image. Thanks to Clarity Boost it is sharper, which makes the graphics in individual games look better. Interestingly, this technology is in fact only a kind of filter, imposed by the browser on the displayed image. Despite this, the effects of its use are impressive.

There is a small fly in this ointment, however. Unfortunately, Clarity Boost works only when using the Microsoft Edge Canary browser. Chrome, Opera or Firefox users give up or convince themselves to use Microsoft's app. Detailed instructions on how to use the new feature can be found on Xbox Wire.
