Zoria: Age of Shattering; RPG for Baldur's Gate Fans Got Release Date
We have learned the new release date for the isometric RPG Zoria: Age of Shattering from Tiny Trinket Games. The game, revolving around a dynamic turn-based combat system, will debut in early March next year.
We learned the new release date of Zoria: Age of Shattering, whose publisher is Anshar Studios. The isometric RPG developed by three-person studio Tiny Trinket Games is scheduled to debut on March 7, 2024 - exclusively on personal computers.
The project of the small Romanian team has been partly financed thanks to the support of people who took part in the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
Despite a rather modest development team, Zoria: Age of Shattering is expected to offer content that will be enough for about 30 hours of play. Most interestingly, however, Tiny Trinket Games is hinting that it is taking example from the masters of the genre from Larian Studios.
It is worth noting that on the occasion of revealing the game's release date, we also learned its price. The title is priced at $24.99 in the US.
Zoria: Age of Shattering - information about the game
Zoria: Age of Shattering is a representative of classic isometric RPGs, albeit in three dimensions. The game is aimed at a single player.
- During the course of the game we will gather a party of up to four characters, which we will develop with experience
- The game has a turn-based combat system with a "dynamic" character, which is due to the "constantly changing environment".
- In Zoria you will find quasi-survival elements. We will set up a camp where we will rest and replenish our resources to increase our chances in the upcoming battles.
- What's more, the players will have the main base camp at their disposal, the condition of which we will have to take care of.
- The main goal of the plot will be to liberate the title land of Zoria, which has been overrun by evil powers in the form of wraiths and other beasts.
- We will unlock some of the tasks and areas by choosing specific skills of our companions.
- We will be able to send companions not in the party on autonomous missions, which will bring us experience points.
Zoria: Age of Shattering will hit GOG, Steam and Epic Games Store on the day of its release. If you are curious, I hasten to inform you that the demo of the game is still available.
