Resident Evil Zero HD: Activating the large elevator in the factory

The lift that Rebecca can use

Of course, you start in the railway cart (M5,1). Leave it (M5,2) and go towards the nearby stairs. The door will be locked - you can unlock it later. Turn to the opposite side and walk upstairs (M5,3). Now enter the new large room (M5,4). First examine the upper right corner of this location - you will find a small lift. Stand on it and press the interaction button - Rebecca will drive to the lower floor (M5,5).

The place where you find key to the factory

Walk through the narrow balcony to the next area (M5,6). Go to its end and find the Factory Key lying on the ground. Go back after collecting the item. Be prepared for an attack of two hunters. You can use grenade launcher (preferably using acid grenades) or recently obtained Magnum to defeat these opponents. In case of using Magnum, avoid wasting all ammunition for this weapon as it will soon be useful for defeating the boss.

Important - If you have full inventory, don't leave any items on the lower floor explored after using the elevator. Instead, throw them from the inventory someplace on the floor 1F.

Put the key in the console to call the elevator

Go back to floor 1F (M5,4) and go towards the door leading to the side control room (M5,7). In the control room you can most of all find the Factory Map, grenades and Ink Ribbon. Additionally, there is a typing machine there and it is a good idea to save your progress. Walk towards the computer at the left wall, open the inventory and use the previously obtained key. This will trigger a cutscene from which you will learn that a very large elevator was called.

Rebecca will meet Enrico on her way for the new key

Leave the control room (M5,4) and go towards the large elevator. Find the control panel and press the button to reach floor B4 (M5,8). Once you reach the new area, first go to the west. The game will show you a cutscene during which Rebecca will meet with Enrico. Once the scene is over, take the Elevator Key from the ground and go east (M5,9). Attempt at using the key on the smaller lift (M5,10) will lead to a duel with a new boss.
