The map above shows factory which you can reach after using the cable railway in the laboratory. It's not a large location, but it is occupied by various monsters and there is one new boss among them. Using the map is recommended here as there are many elevators, stairs and narrow passages that make it easy to get lost. Walkthrough on the next page contains a suggested order of exploration of the available areas. In the walkthrough you will also find references to the map. For example, reference (M5,4) suggests that you should look at point 4 of the factory map (M5).
