Valheim: Gestures, Emotes - how to use, list

On this page of the Valheim guide, you will find a list of all emotes, as well as information on how to use them.

In Valheim, players can use special commands to make their characters perform a certain gesture. You can, for example, wave to someone you meet, express your disapproval, or point at something. Using emotes in Valheim is very simple – you can use them at any point in the game. Open the text chat window (press Enter), type a command, such as /wave, and confirm (Enter).

All emotes - list

At the time of writing this guide, Valheim has 7 different emotes. It is possible that the developers will later add more emotes to help players express much more emotions.

Below is a list of all emotes available in Valheim:

1. Sit: /sit
2. Wave: /wave
3. Challenge: /challenge
4. Cheer: /cheer
5. No no no: /nonono
6. Thumbs Up: /thumbsup
7. Point: /point
