Valheim: Poison resistance - how to obtain it?

This page of the Valheim guide will show you how to become resistant to poison, one of the negative status effects you may encounter during gameplay.

Your character's poison resistance can be increased by drinking a special concoction called Poison resistance mead, which can be prepared in the Fermenter using the Mead base: Poison resistance.

Mead base: poison resistance - how to create it?

The mead base for preparing the poison resistance potion can be cooked in a Cauldron. To prepare the Mead base: poison resistance, you will need:

1. 10 pieces of Honey;
2. 5 sprigs of Thistle;
3. 1 Neck tail;
4. 10 pieces of Coal.

How to prepare the poison resistance mead?

Walk up to the Fermenter and add the previously prepared Mead base: Poison resistance to it. You will see a note on the screen that the fermentation process is currently underway - it will take 2 in-game days.

When the fermentation is over, you will receive 6 pieces of Poison resistance mead. The potion halves the poison damage received, and this effect lasts for 10 minutes.
