Vampyr: How do I fight efficiently?
There's a lot of fighting in Vampyr – you'll encounter lots of enemies on the streets, from Skals to the fanatical Priwen Servants. The level of difficulty in the game is quite uneven – some battles are easy while others can really raise your blood pressure. This section of the guide will give you some tips on how to deal with your fights efficiently.

Small Combat Guide
- Remember that enemies usually deal very large amounts of damage. This is a constant factor in the game, and it gets even worse near the end. The opponents are able to wreck Jonathan, and the only remedy is to master the art of dodging. You must rely on evasiveness and mobility in combat.
- In order to be mobile, it is necessary to improve your endurance. It's a priority - high endurance will translate into increased evasiveness and frequency of your character's attacks. This is a key parameter that you should regularly upgrade when distributing experience points.
- Choose a weapon that enables you to suck blood and use your vampire skills. Autophagy can save lives - you only have to break away from the enemy, heal yourself and come back to attack him.
- The Blood Barrier is a great support ability, especially when upgraded, when it has short cooldown time. It is also very good to use with offensive skills such as Blood Spear or Shadow Mist.
- Firearms are also very helpful - here I particularly recommend the Lupara, which is ideal for dealing enormous damage. Remember, however, that you need ammunition to be able to use such weapons in combat.
- Most of the battles boil down to the following formula: attack -> break away -> repeat. That's the basic tactic - just learn the enemy's movements, strike at the right moment and get out when the enemy wants to attack you.
