Vampyr: How to get a legendary weapon (True Dragonbane)?

Step 1 - Collect all notes (collectibles)

This weapon is tied with getting all notes. Vampyr has 30 different documents (collectibles) to collect - to get this weapon you will need to collect almost every single one. Below, you can learn why.

Step 2 - Complete "Pandora's Box" investigation

Usher Talltree asks you to get a mysterious box located in the theatre. Defeat one of the enemies in that location to retrieve a key. Reach the bottom floor of said building - a small room can be found next to the stairs that lead to the basement. Open the safe to get a journal. Take the box back to Usher - Do not open it!

This is an extremely important part of getting the weapon. If you open the box, you will lose a chance to solve the puzzle. This means that you won't be able to get this legendary weapon.

Step 3 - Find the solution for the puzzle

A symbol can be found in the upper right corner of the letter. This is the solution for the puzzle which depicts placements of various symbols on pressure plates near Usher.

Give the unopened notebook to Usher. You receive a document with four symbols drawn on it. The puzzle related to the secret chamber requires you to find the right order of pressing pressure plates located near Usher. Each symbol corresponds with one plate. However, the symbols drawn on Usher's note are picked randomly which means that every player will need to find a different solution.

Open the window where you can read collected notes and browse through them. Some of the notes have black dots on them with symbols drawn next to them. Only the documents with small dots are necessary to solve the puzzle - there are 6 of them out of 30 available notes. Number of dots informs you about the order of pressing the plates. A symbol next to a dot tells you which plate should be pressed.

Step 4 - Press the plates to receive True Dragonbane sword

Approach the plates near Usher and press them in the right order (by following the information acquired from the documents). This reveals a passage. Inside, you will find the best weapon in the game - True Dragonbane. After upgrades, this powerful sword can deal almost 400 damage - very helpful in, e.g. defeating the last boss, the Disaster.
