Avatar Frontiers of Pandora: How to find Swamp Hives Nectar?

During Act 1 of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora you'll receive a task to visit the swamps in search of nectar needed for a certain ritual. This is the first story mission involving gathering, so it may produce some problems for you. On this page of our guide we explain the task and provide the location of Swamp Nectar Comb.

Quest - The Eye of Eywa

1. The Eye of Eywa is a story quest that you'll encounter in the first visited region of the map - Kinglor Forest. The quest giver is Clan Aranahe. Your task will be to travel to the swamps and obtain a Comb of Swamp Nectar, a ritual ingredient and this will help you convince the Aranahe leader that the presence of RDA has a harmful effect on his lands. The Nectar is found in Swamp Hives.

How to find a nest?

1. During this mission, Hunter's Guide will be useful - you can find it in the pause menu, between the Quest and Map tabs. After receiving the task in question, a page about Swamp Hives will be added automatically to it. The page will help you locate the item in question. Swamp Nests are found in Swamp Lowlands biome. The region will be marked on your map.

1. Upon arrival to the region, it will turn out that the swamp is polluted and materials found here are unfit for collection. To free the area from pollution, you need to destroy a nearby Extraction Site. The location of the station is south from Hunter's Headland, on the other bank of Kreta Rzeka. You won't have to search far - the location will be added to your map when your hero notices the pollution.

1. The base is spacious and full of enemy mechs. This will also be probably your first encounter with turrets and anti-aircraft guns which are mounted on the walls of the Site. For safe and problem-less exploration, you're going to need a hacking device - with it, you can temporarily disable mechs and permanently turn off turrets.

1. Additionally, on the walls near one of the turrets you can find a yellow chest containing a rocket launcher. It holds 3 rockets and can destroy a mech with one shot. You can make use of it to turn the tide of battle in case of detection or to easily defeat remaining enemies. To destroy the base, you need to turn both seismic towers off (by pulling a lever at the base of the tower) and the gas pipeline (turn a valve on a pipe in the middle of the camp).

1. After clearing and putting the base out of commission, you can return to the swamp. The game may deselect the quest at this point - if you don't know how to proceed with the quest, you can track it anew from the menu. Hives are found at tree roots, right above the ground. Interact with them to harvest the needed nectar.
