Unfortunately, each subsequent project of DONTNOD studio more and more clearly proves that the phenomenal Life is Strange was more of an accident at work, and the regular level of this team oscillates around mediocrity. Deviations from the norm, on the other hand, are more likely to occur downward than upward. After the ambitious Vampyr, whose scale clearly outgrew the team, the polarizing Life Is Strange 2, and probably the best, although still so-so at best, Tell Me Why, we got a simply flopped Twin Mirror.

In the latest work of the French team, the key element of their games – the narrative layer – failed all along the line. The plot, for some reason, plunges headlong into the story, spearing no time to allow important events to properly resonate, introduce the characters, nor to allow players to grow fond of the protagonist at all. The story flows down like a waterfall and is forgotten moments after it ends, the only thoughts it's capable of provoking is whether it was worth wasting a few hours of our lives on it.

He first worked as a co-worker at GRYOnline.pl. In 2023 he became the head of the Paid Products department. He has been creating articles about games for over twenty years. He started with amateur websites, which he coded himself in HTML, then he moved on to increasingly larger portals. A computer engineer, but he was always more drawn to writing than programming, and he decided to tie his future with the former. In games, he primarily looks for stories, emotions, and immersion that no other medium can provide - hence, among his favorite titles, are games focusing on narration. Believes that NieR: Automata is the best game ever made.
