Over the years, Paradox Interactive has gotten fans used to a particular way of supporting the strategies they release. Their basic versions are often just a solid foundation, that serves as the basis of extremely complex titles with numerous paid add-ons developed throughout years. Such a foundation seems to be also the recent Empire of Sin, which allows you to create your own criminal empire and manage it. This games has some minor technical issues and quickly becomes tiresome, but you'll also find some very solid management and turn-based combat mechanics there. Just an average game with a lot of potential for the future. At least on PC.

The console versions, on the other hand – especially those for PlayStation 4 and Switch (it's unplayable on Xbox) – turned out to be way buggier and poorly optimized. On Sony and Nintendo consoles, the game makes your life harder with unstable framerate, and abundant glitches that often require restarting a mission. Which, by the way, isn't always possible – Empire of Sin also tends to break savegames. Such a poor technical state of the game is all the more saddening when you realize that a former industry legend is behind it – the title was developed for Paradox by Romero Games, a studio founded by John Romero – creator of such cult works asDoom and Wolfenstein 3Dand his wife Brenda.

In games, he primarily looks for stories, emotions, and immersion that no other medium can provide - hence, among his favorite titles, are games focusing on narration. Believes that NieR: Automata is the best game ever made.
