What is Iron Man VR?

One of the more exciting productions to come this year is the PlayStation VR. Iron Man VR will feature the eponymous superhero known from Marvel Comics and films, facing threats that require the use of the cutting-edge armor. The game is owned by Studio Camouflaj, the creators of Republique, a stealth game.

What's gameplay like in Iron Man VR?

During the game, we play as Tony Stark, from first-person perspective. The authors have prepared a number of varied missions, during which we will fly over large-sized maps and take part in spectacular duels. The armor will be used with PlayStation Move controllers, allowing us to fly using the suit's boosters. By moving the controllers forward, we will use offensive options – energy missiles or charges. During the course of the game we will also get improvements that will expand the range of combat tools available.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

Iron Man VR doesn't sound too spectacular, and the first trailer was rather disappointing for me. Fortunately, some time ago, the developers released a free demo version, so that any PS VR owner can easily check if Camouflaj's production is worth buying. Flying in Iron Man VR is great and makes for a lot of fun, the plot is vital, and it respects the source material. At least that's what it looks like in the demo version. If the final edition gets closer to its level, VR will get a hit – maybe not of Alyx magnitude, but still definitely worth a try.
