The Procession to Calvary
- Genre: point & click adventure
- Developer: Joe Richardson
- Platforms: PC
Different types of games can be easily recognized from a long distance. Especially one with absurd humor, which there's still not much in computer games. That's why The Procession to Calvary, similar to Monty Python interlude animations is so special. This supposedly traditional point & click adventure game is made up of original paintings by various artists, which have been trimmed and animated accordingly for each scene.
The whole creates a really unusual graphic setting in which creativity is mixed with peculiar humor. Somewhere in the background is a plot about an expedition in search of a tyrant – the Heavenly Peter – and all that gaming setting of clicking and dialogues. Combined with the sound of classical music in the background, The Procession to Calvary, on the one hand, creates a rather sophisticated title for connoisseurs, but on the other – it is still just an interesting and unique adventure for fans of the genre.
You're going to like The Procession to Calvary if:
- you're a Monty Python fan;
- you wouldn't want to leave the Louvre or the National Gallery.;
- you like amazing adventure games;
- you played the previous installment - Four Last Things.
