Is it still a game?
Do you know Until Dawn or The Dark Pictures Anthology series? Well, their creators, Supermassive Games, decided to prepare another production, this time called The Quarry. Again, it will (not) be a cheerful mix of an adventure game and horror, but with an exceptionally cinematic twist. In fact, the whole thing has been so well thought out that we can probably talk about an interactive movie, rather than an actual game. Nevertheless, the level of fear will remain the same.
Or maybe an interactive movie?
We will go to the eponymous quarry, where a summer camp is held. What was meant to be a quiet vacation will quickly turn into a struggle for survival when local residents start hunting the teenagers. We will have to play the role of these kids and try to survive, and the choices made during the game will affect the course of the story and its finale. If you don't feel like playing, you can see it in the cinematic mode, in which you will passively observe what's happening on the screen. Popcorn not included.
