Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

The game represents the action genre and was inspired by the classic games that came out in the 90s. The plot in DUSK is only an excuse for flashy and brutal gameplay, and during the game we have to face hordes of enemies with supernatural abilities. The levels are diverse: we can choose from a modern city infrastructure, through churches, to dark undergrounds.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle

A classic beat'em up game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is based on the license of the Power Rangers TV series popular back in 1990s. The titular teenagers are the characters the players assume control of in the game, supported by mysterious Zordon. The heroes have to face the forces of evil represented by the ominous Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd - they want to destroy the Earth and try to achieve it by sending in more and more powerful monsters.

A sandbox survival simulator with adventure and horror features from Thai studio Phoenix. It is an extended version of a 2013 amateur project built on CryEngine. We play as an anonymous character, who wakes up on endless desert. Naturally, his only goal is to survive and escape from the hellish place, which requires solving many puzzles, exploring the game’s world and developing our character, who learns new, useful skills.

The production is a development of ideas from the previous work of the creators. Once again we get the climate inspired by heavy metal, but this time the authors have abandoned the fantasy reality for the sake of science fiction. Players play as a warrior who explores a star fortress full of monsters orbiting the dying sun.

Rambo: The Video Game

The story campaign in Rambo: The Video Game consists of a series of missions inspired by movies First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III. The player can fight soulless law enforcers in Hope city, free the captives held in Vietnamese jungle and help the Afghan guerillas.

The game was developed by the team at The Farm 51, founded by people involved in the creation of the original. The players assume the role of Daniel Garner who died in a car crash along with his wife. The protagonist is tasked with dealing with infernal hordes, which will allow him to redeem himself and join his beloved in the afterlife.
